I am currently working on becoming independant of the person I was this past year. I am not at all sure I even knew who she was most of the time. One minute she was a friend while the next she became my worst enemy. I am not sure if I wallowed in self pity to punish myself because I "could have, would have and should have" done more. When I was a child I had dreams of wanting to be, much like any other child my age. I felt nothing could stand in my way, especialy when I "wished upon a star." It's possible I escaped into way too many movies where most of the time everyone lived happily ever after. Even my girl Lassie overcame being lost, afraid lonely and hungry.
