- What's Your Favourite Way To Create?
- Sit at my computer desk with my purple Marshmallow Peeps hat on and write.I'm writing a YA novel about a teen who gets stuck riding with her Mom who drives and 18 wheeler, which happens to be what I do when I'm not creating stuff! I also like to prowl about with my camera and find great pictures - at least I hope they're great! Trying my hand at oils and pastels as well.

I'm happy to hear your heart surgery went well. I'm loving your writing on the red hot July festival, on Writer's Clique, especially the reply to the prompt about the castle.

I recall reading somewhere that you have a Nikon Coolpix, sounds like a newer one than mine - I have a 4500. I try to avoid using flash and photograph in natural light (not direct sunlight though) and use the macro setting ... on my camera, it shows up in the viewfinder as an icon of a tulip. When that image turns yellow (using zoom) it is in the best focus. If you have to use artificial lighting, try to get natural color light bulbs and use two or three in your photo set up. Just a few hints I learned when I was photographing my bead jewelry for ebay and such ... hope it helps :)
