What's Your Favourite Way To Create?
painting, collage and constructions, writing, photography, photoediting
Favourite Artists (in ANY creative medium)
Picasso,Klimt,Klee, Matisse,Egon Shiele, David Bowie, Madonna,Eva Hesse,Audrey Flack,Ben Shahn,Fornasetti, Alanis Morriesette,Marisol,
Herman Hesse,Isabelle Allende, (oh, heck...there are so many...it is hard for me to name favorites!
Greatest Creative Moment You've Had?
Michelle Cousseau, writes and talks about freeing the creative spirit
through painting...A year ago, I tapped into that authentic part of me,
and produced a series of paintings that could only have come from a deep place within!!!
What's Your Biggest Creative Dream?
Tapping into my own personal authentic imagery every time I pick up a brush, would be my biggest creative dream...but then, like Michelle Cousseau, I would need to share what I learn through this experience, because it is a joyful one!!
Recently, lots of friends tell me that I could be a successful writer, especially a writer of childrens books...publishing such a book would be a great way to make a little extra dough, as I am usually doughless!!! LOL!

Julia, I know, my housework suffers, since joining CCS and putting creativity as a top priority in my life, too! But, I am much happier emotionally now! I wish I knew of a way to balance all aspects of life activities with creative ones! Does anyone have a working plan for this dilemma???? Camille

Thanks Camille for your welcomed words of encouragement...I'm enjoying pushing myself with new images, but the housework is suffering (grin)...I still have a lot to learn and figure out on this site yet, but I'll get there!

Good morning, DabsieDooDler!

You just have to see the zendalas on this site that Lin just posted a link to here ...

hope the link works ... if not, it's in the discussion "Zentangles Using Lin's Fabulous Doodling Sheets" or something like that, and she also posted it at the discussion called Mandala-Lin ... I think you're gonna like it ...

Thanks for your comments on the tiki photos, Camille. You have such an artist's eye ... I didn't even notice the curves you mentioned when I took the photo, at least not consciously!
Hugs!

Thanks, Shayla and welcome to CCS! Your painting blew me away last night!
Digital photography is a very new medium for me, so I am glad that you enjoy them!
Yes, I have had to experiment with lots of mediums. A very long time ago, I became sensitive to all traditional art materials. They make me quite ill. Over time, I learned that to get a shine on surfaces, I need to used cello wrap and cellophane papers. I don't use glue, so everything is stapled on. Sometimes I employ egg whites as a bonding agent and to give texture and sheen...

What a fun place this is! I'm enjoying your photos and your bowls. You've tried so many mediums. I'm wondering what kind of surface treatment you used. Regular varnish? Resin? Something else? They're outstanding.

Thanks for the visit and your words of encouragement.

hi, Camille

I just popped over to say hello, and that I really like your avatar. It's beautiful, and I love the colours. Did you draw/paint it yourself?

regards, Donelle
