Favourite Artists (in ANY creative medium)
I like so many artists, both past and present! I enjoy the great classical painters, and the modern creatives, also! I like both color and neutrals, I love realism and abstraction, sculpture and textiles, collage and pottery.
Greatest Creative Moment You've Had?
Every time I complete a painting, my heart does cartwheels.

Had Enough?

Tuesday, I checked my mail box and, once again, was disgusted with the stack of sales flyers that I wasn't interested in. (My material girl hasn't shown up in quite a while, and when she does, I don't shop from sales flyers.) So, I decided I'd had enough! I sat down with the junk mail stack on my lap in front of my computer, and while I was checking e-mail, surfing blogs, and reading wonderful posts from my CCS family, the following happened...

Thanks for the invite - I joined and it is very exciting cause there is actually activity on there - LOL - when I first went to college ( a long time ago) I signed up for poetry class and it was cancelled cause no one else signed up!! Yea - some like-minds!!!!

Well, she just sleeps when I compose unless she has to eat and get her insulin shot (and let's not forget the treat that comes after the shot). She is a Huskie, so it is hard to ignore those Bambi blue eyes...lol.

They are planning on using strategic marketing based on target marketing, logistics, marketing philosophies, diverse strategies which include interviews (print, radio, TV) as well as advertising, product partnerships, grassroots, long term brand build and such. It gets very complex and while I am part of the decision making and approval, I pretty much let them run free because it is way too involved. Sometimes I just want to run, hide and compose for my dog!

Hi DJ,
I don't work in the school system. I'm self-employed, but use space at a local recreation center. One of the kids I had as a preschooler was just in my teen class which I taught at a local framing store. I teach a class, sometimes 2 a day and that frees up time for me to paint murals or faux finish type painting.
Summer is a little different though, as I teach art most of the day at camp in a park.

Haven't worked on my play for awhile. Hmmmm! But I am trying to take Dan's advice and work a little everyday. Mostly on the writing challenge at Writer's Clique right now. Come up with a theme for some artwork yet?
