Profile Information

What's Your Favourite Way To Create?
Painting, drawing, brainstorming, writing, cooking. I love baking bread, cakes and biscuits.
Favourite Artists (in ANY creative medium)
Too, too, many. Right now I'm having trouble thinking of one favourite artist!
Greatest Creative Moment You've Had?
When I write, and find myself writing something unexpected. Whenever I do something, and I'm pleased with the result. So there's lots of little "greatest creative moments," rather than one big "greatest creative moment." I always like to think the best is yet to come.
What's Your Biggest Creative Dream?
I want to write a novel, and sell my art work. And I want to be an example to other people who have a dream that they, too, can reach their dreams. I especially want to inspire my son, and two daughters, (my girls are severely disabled), to have a wonderful, fulfilling, happy, meaningful life.
In the case of my daughters, I want them to know that their disabilities don't stand in the way of anything they may want to do.
I figure that if I can chase my dream of living a creative life, I can advise my children on how to chase their dreams. (I won't do it for them, but I'll stand on the sidelines with advice and support.)

Hi Donelle,
I am so glad you felt the love and presence of a spirit being, I tell you -it is all baby steps, just stay open, use that imagination and say something like -say you feel this energy and it is familiar to you and it feels like your deceased Aunt to you - so you say to her I thank you for comforting me today, I feel your loving presence and I want validation that it is you, please send me a sign and come up with a sign that is personal to you both. I ask my mom for a butterfly from her, she is the butterfly lady. Or even get more specific say ok if it is you by some uncanny reason I am going to recieve a chocalate cake today ( like if you two always shared chocalate cake)! Hope this helps and you will learn your own ways and keep believing and more and more will start happening, mainly because they know that you are listening. Light & Love, Jude

Donelle, I hope your daughters are over their colds soon. Hope you don't get it. Sorry you missed your art class.
Remember to post your painting when you do it. I'd love to be able to paint a picture of my now deceased cat Sooty. I have done a few sketches when she was alive but I'd love a painting. I'm glad I have photos. Maybe one day I will do it.
I finally finished a top I've been knitting. It is part of a twin set. i am so pleased with it. i have now started a jumper.
Glad to be emailing you

tell me if you post some more of your art. I have been doing my knitting and cross stitch and writing but I am really missing splogging paint around. Every time I think about it I'm either busy emailing or it is time to go out of the house. I need to make an appointment with myself.
What are you drawing with the oil pastels?

Love your painting. How creative you are. It's a great achievement after 10 years. I hope it is the beginning of more.
I am like you I don't always have ideas of what to do next. I have an art journal I haven't worked in for ages. I'm focusing on my writing at the moment and other life pursuits. I love my daily gratitude journal the best for writing. I am just learning how to make up stories and am enjoying the process
Thanks for sharing with me I enjoy our letters

Donelle, You sound like a great mum the way you play with your kids and think of new things for them to do. I am so glad you now have time to do creative things yourself now they are at school. What are you working on at the moment?
