Addicting, these little one inch squares!
All done on watercolor paper with Inktense color pencils, Micron pen enhancements.

Here is a picture of my very first set of inchies....at least the ones I'm happy enough with to share!
Overall, it was a fun project. I used Derwent Watercolor pencils on watercolor paper, added fine details with a Micron pen and I'm thinking of adding a little silver sparkle to them, but I haven't decided for sure yet.

Welcome to CCS. I have found this a friendly supportive atmosphere to be in. I hope that you find the same!

In one of the recent discussions ("Is creativity a little too important to you?") someone raised the question that maybe going for a creative job/carreer would take the joy out of creating so there would be no motivation left for creating for fun and for yourself when the work day was done....I haven´t checked whether you added to the topic today, but maybe you would have something to say about it.... Just a thought. In my non-creative job, the thought strikes me from time to time - "would I be happier if...." and I honestly don´t know.

thank you for the friend request. I was just about to ask if you lived somehwere tropical, because your jewelry is so beachy - not to mention the titles of many of the pieces - but now I see you live in NYC, so nevermind ;-)
Are you able to make a living from your jewelry design and other art?
Heidi
I like your web site. I've made and sold jewelry at craft shows locally in Central Oregon ... lots of fun :) I did more beadweaving with the tiny seed beads.
I'm who you would send the 1" x 1" art to. The swap is for 5 pieces. Send me a message if you decide to jump in, and I can send you my address.
See you around!
Barb
