Zendalas Using Lin's Fabulous Sheets!

Here's my first attempt at a zendala...what fun! I only had time for two, but can see myself doing this while driving....and driving....and driving...(well, as a passenger)....with my dad.

Thanks to everyone for their inspiration for this bright idea!

(Note to self: Always use black ink when you're drawing your lines!)

Can't wait to hear from you!

You are very welcome Millie! Love to see you post some zendalas when you're ready. I'm making digital ones right now...

I will post them hopefully by monday. I think the recent works i've posted were too messy. I guess my mood isn't right that time. But since i'm starting with zendala circles i think it will be much fun. Looking forward to your digital zendalas.

Here is one I did last night, using a PaintShop Pro tutorial, from a photo of some trees I took in my back yard, then applied filters to:

Note to self: Must learn PhotoShop!! Lin, this is wonderfully amazing. I absolutely love it!

I'm just back from a weekend silent retreat in Newburg, New York where I spent most of my time making "zendalas" and have about...a lot...to post. Will get to it soon.

This was done with Paint Shop Pro, Mary, a cheaper program than Photoshop. I don't know what the current version is like since I have a very old one. You might do better with the Photoshop Elements. Sue says that is very good. The Photoshop CS series programs are the best but are very expensive. Glad you had a good retreat! Can't wait to see your results...

Awesome Lin! I love the way the mandala 'floats' above its background- and I really love that color
