CCS Member Becca Having Heart Surgery July 22nd

CCS Member Becca Allison is having open heart surgery at 7:30 AM Central US time on Tuesday July 22nd. They will be replacing her aortic valve and making her heart as good as new! Please send prayers and healing energies her way and to the medical staff caring for her on that day and afterwards as she recovers. Thank you! I know she will be watching this post as soon as they let her have access to her laptop- just can't stay away from CCS, even in the hospital!

Thanks, Mary! I'm off this morning for the remaining tests, etc. then tomorrow at 0530 I gotta be there! Reminds me of being in the Army! Am looking forward to directing other people (my sons!) in doing the housework, while I lay back and look pitiful! LOL!

Becca came through with flying colors! I just talked to her husband Mack. He had just spoken to her surgeon who reported the valve was replaced and her heart restarted naturally on its own. She is still sedated and on a ventilator for several hours.

Hopefully by late tonight they will get her up into a chair for a few minutes. She will probably be in the hospital anywhere from 4 to 7 days. Her attitude last night was fantastic and positive, and she appreciates all the prayers and good wishes coming her way! I'll keep you posted as I hear more. That mandala must be doing its thing!
