joy

Did you find joy?

"The future, higher evolution will belong to those who live in joy, who share joy, and who spread joy."

-- Torkom Saraydarian

Joy, as the energy of love, is the highest vibration on this planet. Everything in the universe is energy; it can be measured and reduced to vibrational frequencies. It’s a universal law that as we think and feel we vibrate, and as we vibrate we attract. When we are in the high joy vibration, we attract what is for our greater good.

The Ancient Egyptians saw Joy as a sacred responsibility. They believed that upon their death, the God Osiris would ask them two questions: "Did you bring Joy?" and "Did you find Joy?" Those who answered ‘yes’ could continue their journey into the afterlife.

For at least the next week or two, ask yourself these two questions each and every day: Did I bring joy? Did I find joy?

"Man loves because he is Love. He seeks Joy, for he is Joy. He thirsts for God for he is composed of God and he cannot exist without Him."

-- Sathya Sai Baba

Like beauty, joy is one of the highest vibrations on this planet. Bring the joy that's already inside you to life.

I'll have to check out that one...sounds lovely.

Some people think she (the author of the book) gets annoying, but I think it is wonderful how she points out little things that make people happy. It is a little bit like the songs in The Sound Of Music that go: "I have confidence in sunshine, I have confidence in rain, I have confidence the sun will shine again..." or "Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens...these are a few of my favourite things." I like to wind down from my work with simple things that truly make me happy and help me take my mind of other things that may be weighing me down.

Amen!
Unfortunately, my artwork reflects this desired simplicity lately, and appears very unsophisticated compared to my earlier work. But, I'm not stressed, and I'm happier about creating, which is what matters most right now.

I used to have that book on my coffee table -- it's been ten years since I've looked at it. Must find it and re-read it. I loved it so much!

Mary, there's a saying "great minds think alike"...I say they also read the same books! LOL! :-)

I used to have that book...maybe I still do? I love Alexandra Stoddard and, in fact, was trying to remember her name just the other day. Isn't it awesome what we all help each other with here at CCS?

If I remember correctly, Alexandra Stoddard is a bit like SARK, but she types more than prints. Now I have to find that book!
