joy

Did you find joy?

"The future, higher evolution will belong to those who live in joy, who share joy, and who spread joy."

-- Torkom Saraydarian

Joy, as the energy of love, is the highest vibration on this planet. Everything in the universe is energy; it can be measured and reduced to vibrational frequencies. It’s a universal law that as we think and feel we vibrate, and as we vibrate we attract. When we are in the high joy vibration, we attract what is for our greater good.

The Ancient Egyptians saw Joy as a sacred responsibility. They believed that upon their death, the God Osiris would ask them two questions: "Did you bring Joy?" and "Did you find Joy?" Those who answered ‘yes’ could continue their journey into the afterlife.

For at least the next week or two, ask yourself these two questions each and every day: Did I bring joy? Did I find joy?

"Man loves because he is Love. He seeks Joy, for he is Joy. He thirsts for God for he is composed of God and he cannot exist without Him."

-- Sathya Sai Baba

Like beauty, joy is one of the highest vibrations on this planet. Bring the joy that's already inside you to life.

I love this post Barbara as I try to enJOY my life in all it's simplicity and complexity. I have a stamp with enjoying the journey on it and I stamp it on my journals to remind me to enjoy the journey. I experience a lot of joy with CCS and I come here every morning to begin my day. I don't know how much joy I give to others but I try to be pleasant and cheerful and enjoyable to be with Thanks again for this post

Those two questions I will ask myself every day and see where I stand in the joy department...and then I will share...

Barb, thanks for posting this, it's very relevant to us as creative people I believe.

Often we'll not spend time creating because we view it as selfish or self indulgent even. What we forget is that when we create what we need to create, we feel better, so we bring joy to ourselves first of all, and then this joy naturally emanates to those close to us, the "good vibrations" travel out into our immediate environment.

Then there is a second level joy gained when we share our art with the world. Someone will read our poems, see our paintings, hear our songs, and be touched, their life enriched for the better, because we were selfless enough to not keep our work to ourselves, but to invite others to share in it.

Then, the third level joy is when others are so inspired by our art, and by the fact that we're consistently stepping up and creating, that they make the same brave journey and bring the same kind of joy to themselves that only comes from following your creative passions. They share their creations with the waiting world, and the process, the cycle continues out, vibrating ever wider...

Wonderful Dan!
That makes ultimate sense to me! I see that cycle quite a bit in my life. I'm going to print this and post it in my art room!

Great song ... loved the harmonies and sense of humor of The Beach Boys.

Brian's dad was a real slave driver in wanting them to get it all just right, and cursed at them quite often with them in their rehearsals. Brian WIlson ... one of those "fine line between madness and genius" people ... a very good composer.

Thanks for the memories :)

Now where's Ba Ba Ba Ba Barbara Ann ... LOL! Best party tune of all time? Wonder if one can salsa dance to it?

I just listened to it and actually it's a great speed for dancing salsa to!
