"Life is not the way it's supposed to be, it's the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference."

Virginia Satir

Having been around a long time, can feel like forever now and again. When it's good, naturally we do not want those times to go away.

"Please stay awhile longer. I want this feeling to last I almost beg."

All the while I am pleading, life is packing a bag, ready to leave mE to figure it out for myself one more time. It may be the way it is plus always will be but liking it is another thing.

I suppose this is where courage comes into play. Life is the way it's suppose to be. Up, down, sideways or inside out. It's a no brainer. We keep going until we get it right. Even when we feel "this is it! I have found all I ever wanted," it takes hard work to keep it that way.

Some days we win, others our losing streak seems to go on and on, draining the life out of us. When I was younger I always kept trying to plow on through. Now that I am older my energy level decides time to stop even when I am not ahead of the game. Be it an inch or two hopefully I am not standing where I was.

It's a trip so be sure you are packed and ready for it when it's time to make a difference in your life.

Happy week-end,
Zingara,mE

Thank you Mary. As always I appreciate your response. I am trying to understand while moving on to the "way it is."

So true, Barbara, and it's never too late ... we can choose any time to live now.

I stumbled upon a book called "A New Earth" and have read it many times. I think you'd like it and it sure helped me look at things differently. The author's name is Eckhart Tolle, here is a link to what wikipedia has to say about him. Put his name into google, and you will find much more ...

And the only thing that remains the same...is change...
Life is a series of problems to be solved, with smatterings of love and laughter in between...
May you find a balance and enjoy the ride.
Love & Laughter,

It is an eye opener, Susan! I haven't read his previous books. There are a lot of videos of his interview shows for Oprah WInfrey available on the web now ... I just love to listen to him. Rita told me about those videos :)

Yes Barbara I have been doing the workbook on Oprah's website and listening to lots of radio broadcasts, etc. I am enjoying them immensely. Glad you are too

True enough. Being ready and recognising the time to act..
