Robyn- thanks for taking the time to peek at my photos and drop a few comments. It could not have come at a better time- as I have finally made the decision to start showing my art locally, rather than just at CCS. It is easier for me to silence .my 'Eeyore' inner critic who always brays "it'll never work' after some positive reinforcement. Eeyore is quite today :-)

Robyn, Thanks for reading my "stuff" on my page...As for the angel comment, all I can say is, "Takes one to know one!"~ I enjoy your art to no end, and I admire your engaging personality. I've said it before: it's a good thing we're on different continents; we'd never get any work done...
ok, maybe a little, but... :-)

Hi Robyn!
Thank you So much for visiting my blogs/galleries. I took a look at your, too. AMAZING. I am so in love with your work. Seriously. I especially like your "Door: Tree of Knowledge" piece. Every compartment holds objects elevated into something sacred...wonderful!

Hi Robyn!
Just noted your Eckhart Tolle quote, a good one, in one of the threads, and wanted to drop in and greet you while you were online ... I haven't been around too much lately either, sort of in an isolated mode for a bit ... Hope you and your loved ones have been feeling well and enjoying life :) Hugs!

Hi Robyn, Sorry for not replying sooner. RSI has been bad for a couple of months and I've had to keep off the computer. Beginning to improve now. I've missed reading your blog :-( No progress on my new blog due to above but hopefully soon :-)
Hope all's well your end,

Space Weather News for Jan. 23, 2007
http://spaceweather.com

SOLAR ECLIPSE: On Monday, Jan. 26th, the Moon will pass in front of the sun producing an annular "ring of fire" eclipse. This is not a total eclipse; the Moon will cover only 93% of the sun's surface. Nevertheless, the Moon's dead-center transit across the solar disk will produce a sight of rare beauty for observers along the "path of annularity." Best views are to be had from islands in Indonesia where the ring of fire will appear to sink into the ocean at sunset. Meanwhile, in Australia, southeast Asia, southern parts of India and South Africa, observers will experience an off-center partial eclipse. Crescent-shaped sunbeams will dapple the ground while high overhead the Moon takes a curved bite out of the sun.

Please visit http://spaceweather.com for eclipse maps, timetables and photos.

BLUE-SKY FIREBALL: Last week a meteoroid of unknown size hit Earth's atmosphere over Denmark and exploded with a flash so bright it turned the nighttime sky daytime blue. A video of the remarkable fireball and eye-witness reports may be found at Spaceweather's fireball sighting page: http://spaceweather.com/glossary/fireballreports_17jan09.htm

Robyn,
The other day I put my totem in my little secret garden. The totem only has a moon on it at the moment. I wanted a bear and an eagle and a rose but am not doing too well on the art work. I will keep trying though. I have just found a bear picture so will give it another try.
Hope you are going well.
lots of love from susan in australia

Robyn, Thanks for your visit to my blog and your kind and supportive words. I'm fighting, right now, to get back to the practice of regular posts. Your blog is delightful, so much to see, such wonderful imagery! Such amazing and meaningful work you do!

Hi Robyn, I just looked at your wonderful photos and of course the pics of your work. Fantastic all around. I was a sculpture major back in art school, and I am still drawn to the three dimensional form - though I found it nearly impossible to earn a living that way... sigh. Look forward to seeing more work and I'm going to check out your blog. :-)

Robyn, Please take care of yourself! You're such a valuable artist, and your body must be protected in order for you to bless the world with your beauty...both in your personage and your artwork. :-)
Yes, I have selfish reasons for this: You inspire me with your solidity, your attitude, and your wisdom.
Create on.

What an amazing collection of photos and art you have here. So beautiful! Thank you for the comments. I'm working on it for sure. I have been focusing on the baby blanket that I promised to a co worker, but its well on its way and it should be done by the end of the month. Creative time is so challenging to find at times. With 4, 18 and under to care for, its a really challenge, especially with a full time job and no partner. Its working though, and its good to be getting back into the creativity.
