Your picture postcard was mailed today (Oct. 15) from Memphis, TN; it is one I picked up in Orange Beach, AL while I was there for 4 days with my daughter and 2 GKids. There wasn't a whole lot to choose from :( Will try to do better with a postcard from MEM.
it's Nita (aaargh cannot begin short stories)...I have been use to helping myself and just get on with it so asking for help can sometimes be difficult for me....so I was wondering if the offer still stands...I am looking for a writing buddy....someone I can say to ' ok i am about to put pen to paper/tap the keyboards etc....I do not know if I have research and plan my writing well....or whether its a case of just write the stories and see where it leads me......I think it's about trust and courage. i need clarity. Kind regards, Nita

Valerie,
i feel sad we couldn't do our bracelet swap. Do you do ATCs?
Would you like to swap a couple of your ATCs for a couple of mine.
I have only just started collecting them since being on CCS.
Lots of love from Susan in Australia
Hi Valerie nice to "meet" you. I had clicked to check out your page when I noticed you are in Tucson. As I am in AZ also (Flagstaff), I felt a geographical connection too...
Thank you for viewing my pages! They are but a few of the many! lol

Valerie,
I am not sure of what to offer as a swap. A lot of my needlework takes months to do so if you are willing to wait. Maybe it's best if we forget the swap. It's a shame I'm not good at doing a bracelet as well. Thanks for the offer though I appreciated it.
Hope you had a great Christmas. i had mine with my mum and brothers family.

Happy New Year Valerie:
I am glad you enjoyed my piece on being "snowed in." I am sure it would have been more than serious if we had been without heat or food. I can understand your husband's feelings should all not be safe and warm from the outside.
Being prepaired, even here during hurricane season, is a must. Better be safe than sorry as my grandmother would say.
Blessings, Zingara

Val, The floral oracle cards are like soul collage cards and you make them yourself so you can get the messages from them that you understand. You'd also need to buy the book to read them. Think about what you want me to do and get back to me when time allows. Happy christmas to you too.

Valerie,
Would you seriously consider bartering with me for a bracelet. All I could do is do some nice doodles or ATCs or inchies. I'd be so excited to have one of your bracelets. Looking forward to hearing from you. I'll also make a friend request.

Hi Val,
Making a treasure map is much fun and I thank you for commenting as it brought me back to read it carefully again! Even though I have it posted at eye level and stand in front of it every day, I haven't really been seeing it ... lol! The idea was posted in the "Go For The Goal" group, and I highly recommend it as a great tool for keeping things in mind :)
sorry I freaked out. I was just overwhelmed with all the articles and emails. I thought it was all too much. Once I settle into my writers group in the real world I will consider coming back. Thanks for your kind comment . I appreciate it
I see you are a SoulCollage(R) lover! I've been making cards since last August when I attended a workshop here in Massachusetts. It's been a wonderful outlet for me. Are you a member of KaleidoSoul, or any online groups?
Love the picture of you onstage, and wonder if that's the feather boa you referred to in "Intender's Circle" discussion today? It's a beauty!
I checked out your other blog last night and must admit I was a bit star struck and tongue tied ... WOWzers! What a gal! I am really glad to meet you here. On the SoulCollage group, it's a little difficult because it's so large, and I really like the features of CCS ... lets us get a little better acquainted with each other!
Thanks for your comment on the beaded dolls I've made. I enjoyed making them :)
WOOHOO!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, VALERIE!!!!
Hope your day is filled with all you need it to be.
You're awesome, and I'm so glad you're a part of CCSpace!!!

Hi, Heidi,
Thank you lurking and posting a comment. With another day to mull (and I'm a world champion muller!) it becomes clear what I need to do here...which is find a group that fits what I do better. I was astounded that I was derailed by it, though...which is a whole 'nother thing. Something I need to learn here about resilience and rejection.
I love what you say--"We all have a bit of that in us...if art has no room for darkness, where do we put it, then?" I have a rubberstamp by that vulcanized goddess Leavenworth Jackson which says, ART SAVES LIVES. I truly believe it. It does that by giving us a place to be, a place to tell it like it is, and a place to make sense of what happens to us.
Thank you again. I appreciate the note.
