Hi Detta! I just thought I'd check out the artist who is sending me an ATC from the Cosy Christmas Swap. Your page great, you are an amazing woman. I'm sorry to hear about your health, I hope you are doing better. I fell in Sept. and partially herniated 3 discs in my lower back, so I was out of commission for awhile too. And this month I've had the flu so I'm playing catchup and trying to pull off Christmas at the same time. Hang in there! I'm so glad I finally made it to your page!!

I'm sorry that it's taken me so long to respond back to your wonderful comments! I don't get on CCS hardly at all anymore, because I get sucked into the black hole of computerland and spend too much time there. Time that I should be spending doing other things. Anyway, in answer to your questions about prints, I don't have a website (yet), I have had trouble finding someone to do a website for me, or to help me, even tried to do one myself but got frustrated. I do have prints for sale that I've put together myself. They are good quality and are matted with a white mat. If you are interested in a particular one, let me know. I sell them for $25.00. So, enough about me. :) What is a Kaizen Muse? Sounds very interesting! I've been out of the loop so long over here at CCS that I need to re-acquaint myself with alot of you and alot of things. Life has taken it's toll on me creatively in the last six months and I haven't done much creating. I need to re-group and get back on board. I'm looking forward to learning more about your creative journey, (and you). Have a great day!!!

Thank you for your expressing your feelings about my postings on grief. I am grateful you were able to open up while finding different ways to deal with your pain.
We must somehow learn to do this to survive as you know. No one said it would be easy yet forgiveness and determination will unlock many doors, setting us free.

What a neat idea for the wheel chair, Detta :) I used spray paint and tube acrylic, and then for the black detail work I used a paint pen made by Sharpie, that worked well.

Thank you for your comment on my recent post about HOPE. Without it we are a lost people. Unfortunately there are way too many sinking in that exact same boat these days.
I have never in all my years experienced the things that are happening in this day and age. My beloved grandmother would roll over in her grave if she could see what is happening in this day and age.
With out HOPE all will be lost. I see it as the elixir of life and the future.......

I was intoduced years ago to Mary Summer Rain by a special person who saw my pain. I love her No Eyes book, which was my first read of hers. Since then I have collected as many as I could find plus read a few more.
There is a Mary Summer Rain site I belong to with interesting posts about her and other topics as well. Mary has disappeared into her own private life I understand from what I read.
