The group I was talking about works in NY. I saw one they did in Grand Central, but funny, it was one where everybody froze. I am talking about spontaneous public performances, here, of course, not particularly dancing. I always thought of Americans as a society being far less rigid than most Europeans. I think Dan could back me up on that. But we certainly have our own and to me distasteful brand of rigidity which is about an ugly kind of individualism which lacks any interest in others, a kind of no nonsense get out of my way sky's the limit goal oriented thing, while the European brand is more about following the tradition.

Yes, seen it several times. A great video. I think we're too tight, rigid, hung up, to do this in the States. I mean can you see this happening in Grand Central Station?

Oh, ok, I was looking and looking for that info, finally found it in the "more info" (duh) .. bit disappointing, yeah, it says "It is a promotion stunt for a Belgian television program, where they are looking for someone to play the leading role, in the musical of "The Sound of Music"." which I assume they will do through the normal channels and not cause someone joins them in this haha. There's this group that does spontaneous public performances and I thought it was like that.

In my opinion, the one in Belgium is the best one. The most real.
