I got my latest two paintings finished before I went away but didn't have time to take the photos and post them. I'm very happy with the new looser style I achieved in 4 and I hope that it is going to develop in the next pieces in the series.

You can now see the finished items on my WordPress blog

WildC, I love the development apparent in the series...Your dedication to the detail and character, then the composition morphs as well.
Lovely!
How are you handling this achievement?
You need a parade.....maybe a simple throne or tiara might do...

Cherry, interesting how the most recent two have exactly the same curved wave shape in the background, is that intentional?

Thanks DJ and Anne:-) Personally I feel that each time I complete a piece, I realise something else I have yet to learn! I don't mean this in a negative way...I guess its what spurs artists on to make more art...this being continually disatisfied and thinking, "Now, if I could just...."

DJ, You can see all of the four in my Picassa album but you can only see them side by side at a small size...

Cherry, will we be able to see all four side-by-side at some point?
Just wondering...
I don't mean to be demanding, but they are such an accomplishment!
So proud of you,
DJ

Yes, when I first started using Blogger for What We Grow, I didn't like it as much as WordPress but now I'm hooked!

Good idea Cherry. Blogger seems to be pretty good. I hope you are feeling well rested after your jaunt to the sea. I'm off to look at no.3 & 4.

Ok, its done. Now when you click on Tocando el Cielo you get an image the same size as the other one for Sumérgete.

I don't know what is going on with WordPress lately, they are introducing lots of 'improvements' but to me they don't seem to work that well. I'll be moving, lock, stock and smoking barrels, to Blogger in the autumn.

Well pointed out, Dan. I don't know how that happened. Off to remedy it now.

They look fantastic Cherry! Have you got larger images though, the Tocando el Cielo one especially is only coming up at 200x299 pixels?
