Yesterday I put a huge amount of concentrated energy into getting the backrounds painted for the next two Handless Maiden paintings. You can see the rather surprising result on my blog.

Barb, I just hadn't noticed the time go by until I realised my animals had gathered around me with that "Its well past our dinner time" look!

Dan, Yes, I'm getting used to my own rhythms though it doesn't mean I don't get frustrated with myself!
(The tags refer to the project these backgrounds refer to which is the Handless Maiden (La Doncella Manca in Spanish) and CPE is the author of the book which the story appears in.)

What I liked hearing is how you've found and accepted the way of creating that works for you Cherry, you've attuned to your own creative rhythms. Great stuff!

Can I curiously ask why you've tagged this post "clarissa-pinkola-estés" and "doncella-manca"?
