I have been out of action for a while - no computer, phone or any communication due to a really bad painful back and not knowing what or where to put myself. I have been totally out of sync, made no art, no writing or haven't spoken to anyone really. Anyhow, having previously committed myself to doing a stall in a local shopping centre for the coming few weeks til xmas (as I do every year) I have had to get up and get down there and do it.

I have just finished the October Edition of Inspirational Soup - over 30 pages - so am trying out a few of them on here to see if it works! Well hi gorgeous gang - am finally back from kefalonia - monsoon weather the first week - glorious the second. It was lovely to see my daughter yet even in paradise life throws a few spanners in the works and we had a few problems but all in all it was great and I am glad also to be back.
It was so difficult at the end of season to try and access the internet and I just gave up so I missed out on my beloved ccs crew and all the news and have been busy catching up reading the posts etc - lovely.…

I have created a new montage for Pat my lovely friend who I talk about frequently on this blog. She is 72 and doing a 100km trek in the Sahara in March to raise money for Classic Fm Musicmakers charity to enrich the lives of adults and children across the uk with learning difficulties. Feeling teary and sad hearing news from a friend that her mum, who was also a friend, passed away last night...I was due to go to london tomorrow to see her ~ she was only a couple of years older than me....sweet, lovely, funny, kind and giggly. We shared an email last week. She wasn't a best close tell all kind of friend, but she was a deep friend, a real friend if I needed to talk to her without fear of judgement.

Well I've bitten the bullet - taken a leaf out of my own book and am going for my first job interview in over

HIRE CAR..FIND COMPUTER... seems to be my battlecry every weekend! It is blisteringly hot today. Woke early and went to rejig my format for next week...lovely am looking forward to greeting new ladies and saying ta ta to the gorgeous girls of this week.

At last I got to find a computer with broadband. Where my daughter lives it is only dial up and so slow it is almost non exsistant - non the less I hired a car and found broadband in another resort - yippee so long without a computer it feels tres strange using it again.

Just a quick post today....I have just reread a walk on the beach by Joan Anderson and I love this book so much!
I just found this video link on you tube with Joan Erikson who is her best friend. I now can put a voice and a face to the character in the book.
