Susan Boyle
47 Year old Susan Boyle wows the judges with her performance in the auditions for Britain's Got Talent, singing I dreamed a dream from Les Miserables.
Here are the Lyrics(Thanks to NewHotdox) -
I dreamed a dream in time gone by
When hope was high,
And life worth living
I dreamed that love would never die
I dreamed that God would be forgiving.
Then I was young and unafraid

I just spent a wonderful afternoon with Lisa, CCS member from Salem, Oregon, who often comes to Bend to visit her daughter and family. It's the second time she has come to my house, but the first time she has had time to stay for a bit, and it was so much fun getting to know each other face to face. We sat out on the back patio and chatted for a couple of hours and found many things in common. Lisa goes back to Salem tomorrow ... I can hardly wait until the next time she comes to Bend, and am lo… Continue

Our Mother Earth
The Earth is a live entity
and she responds to to you as you respond to her
I love Mother Earth. I can't tell you why, I just do. She's part of my calling, my purpose for being here, and somewhere along the line I realized that I'm supposed to leave her in better shape than I found her.
That's what the Native Americans of old did. When they left a place where… Continue
Serendipity is the effect by which one accidentally discovers something fortunate, especially while looking for something else entirely. The word has been voted as one of the ten English words that were hardest to translate in June 2004 by a British translation company.[citation needed] However, due to its sociological use, the word has been imported into many other languages (Portuguese serendipicidade or serendipidade; French sérendipicité or sérendipité but also heureux hasard, "fortunate cha… Continue
I'll be starting a group here at CCS in January for members interested in reading Vein of Gold by Julia Cameron, and sharing our experiences in discussions there. I'll create the group this weekend to give people a chance to join, and we'll get rolling around January 10th. I plan to post a discussion for a chapter each week, though each of us is free to go at our own pace and start our own discussions within the group. Hope to see you there :)

Is Einstein the Last Great Genius?

But in recent decades — especially since the Soviet success in launching the Sputnik satellite in 1957 — the trend has been to create massive institutions that foster more collaboration and garner big chunks of funding.
And it is harde… Continue
