Hello Friends!
Thank you for hanging in here with and for me. It's been a long road from Winter to Spring, but I feel as if I'm in full bloom, and I am happy, happy, happy...about most things!
Today I helped my friend Elizabeth turn her home into an "art gallery" full of her daughter's artworks. Erin (a member of CCS) just graduated from high school and will be enrolling in Art Institute of Boston in the Fall. Her mother, Elizabeth, and I worked for several hours this afternoon "framing" a bun… Continue
Hi All! I've been busy gardening this Spring. My sister and I landscaped a large section in the front of the Rectory, and I am so thrilled with it!
You can view photos at my Tumblr blog http://www.tumblr.com/tumblelog/worcesterrfw
Enjoy! Would love to hear your comments.

Wow, this just knocked my socks off! Amazing Grace performed by IL DIVO. I believe they are from Greece, as this was recorded live at the Greek Theater.

It's been a tough year for me and my family. My mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in October of 2007 and died on December 3, 2007. None of us realized just how much our parents loved each other until our mother died. My dad has spent the year in deep grief...in August, I travelled backwards with him on his journey East, a journey he did not enjoy taking alone.
My dad had decided to sell his home, and had chosen an Assisted Living place to live in Golden, CO. He was very excited. And then… Continue
Patience really must be a virtue. I was amazed when I saw this! Please let me know what you think, as well.

I had such a great day with my son, Jonathan!! He helped me clean house for dinner guests, and was really a trooper. I think that, since he recently turned 13, he's beginning to mature and understand responsibility and accountability. I just love him!
Hope you all love this "picture of… Continue
Last night I was (again) frustrated and quite angry with my out-of-state family. While you don't need to know those details, I wanted to share the outcome. Instead of sitting on the front porch making faces at people passing by, I decided to go up to my playroom and see what happened.
My initial thought was that I'd just take a soft pastel and mash it into a piece of paper. For several minutes I thought about how that would feel. But I just couldn't do it. Instead, I took a gentler approach. Th… Continue
...a long time ago, I promised you I'd post this picture after you watched the movie, "The Queen." I'm not sure if you watched it yet or not, but here is the picture. It's been on my refrigerator for a couple of years, and having seen that movie this picture just speaks volumes to me.
Take it for what it's worth. My fascination with Royalty has waned considerably the older I've gotten. But I still can't resist a great picture, like this one. I think I tore it out of a Time Magazine.… Continue
To all my CCS friends: Whether you celebrate this day or not, I hope you make it a wonderful day!
