I can't believe how long it has been since I've participated in this community. I had a rather stressful and gruelsome winter and early spring with my day job which took up a bunch of my energy. A little over a week ago I was laid off , and my attitude remains positive and my spirits are high. I've been in this place before and I know it will all work out.

I hope all artists in the U.S. who are part of this Creative Community will take the time to read the following blog posting about the Orphan Works bill, take action, and spread the word. Educate yourself. If this bill passes, it will force artists, among other things, to register all of their artwork with the U.S. Copyright Office in order to protect their works.
