What's Your Favourite Way To Create?
kicking back and relaxing with some chillout music and a canvas and paints, journalling, drawing, making stuff for others, weaving baskets
Favourite Artists (in ANY creative medium)
ok here are some people that really inspire me. I love Polynesian artists,especially ones that depict art from Tahiti, Guagin, Matisse. I like Frida kahlo,Escher, I also love the author SARK.
I love listening to music from all around the world, cafe, spa,relaxation, meditation, indie music.
Totally am into handmade stuff, I will add more stuff as I think of it.
Greatest Creative Moment You've Had?
The first time I sold an artwork.
The look on my 3 year old daughters face when she asked me to paint a fairy that sprinkles sleep and sweetdreams on her. When she saw it complete she looked at me with complete admiration and said she was beautiful. Best moment ever.
What's Your Biggest Creative Dream?
Go on holiday in French Polynesia and paint my way through the islands,
be able to call myself an artist without any hesitation, build up my confidence. I want to still be able to play when I am "grown up"

I have found what I want to do as a grown up job...

I see my art and creativity as a very necessary part of my life, I may not be doing it as a money making vehicle but it is always present. It follows me and it will always be there. I can't not be creative.
I used to try to see myself studying art at uni at some point, but I think that is because of what others thought I should be doing and there just are no shoulds, and the thought of it doesn't appeal to me. Thank you all for your comments about my post yesterday, I just had to get it off my chest, I really appreciated the warmth and support, I hope I can be just as supportive in return. A heartfelt thankyou.

We found out just last week that we will need to move in May, we are renting and it was our intention to buy the next time we moved, obviously not meant to be at this time.

Well here I am again, posting again, have recovered from being on holidays and have finished rearranging our home and sit waiting now for our little girl to arrive. We have only 7 weeks to go. Time certainly has gone quickly.

To be with family

Well it has been a while since I wrote, but we have been busy making the connections with loved ones all over again the past few days.


We had a beautiful weekend with the family, had big suppers together and spent the day at Centreville on the island outside Toronto, what a great place to be! All the children are excited to be there and beautiful willows hanging over the ponds, nice quiet places to sit and relax.
