Thanks so much for your idea about the notebook for jotting down ideas to sort out the too many choices. I also keep a notebook of things I have to do and do my morning pages to sort things through but a notebook would also help. Thanks.

Also sent you a comment on your blog about keeping a gratitude journal of the good things in the day adn no this isn't an assignement to see how perfect you can be...you'll find gratitude in the strangest of places.
You asked me how my last 24 hours have been since surrendering....extraordinary...it has been a major revelation for me because I am so controlling and such a perfectionist although a chaotic one at that. I am going with the flow more rather than having my check list of what I'm supposed to be doing. It is quite strange and new for me and very playful, light and adventurous.
I also learnt a lot from the comments on your blog about nurturing oneself through the tired difficult times. i usually beat myself up when I am tired and expect more from myself. I am slowly learning about bubble baths, movies, comfort food as a way of nurturing and caring for myself.
I hope you have been kind to yourself this past 24 hours...I'd like to hear from you haow you are going at being less perfect and more kind and accepting. We are on the journey together. Isn't it wonderful.

Thanks for the reply Rae. I've been pretty busy this week too. I was just worried you would think I was very rude not replying to your sweet email. I know I am going haywire when using the message system at the top of the page. Will persevere!

Hi Rae,
DJ has just drawn my attention to the fact that what ever replies I send are not arriving. Did you ever receive a reply from me re gemini child on the 11th September? I am doing something wrong and when people don't receive my replies they must think I'm uncommunicative....or odd.

Hello coachcreativespace world!

I am Goddess-mother-lover-writer-sacred feminine spirit-creatrix-seeker-slave.

Goddess of love and peace
Mother to one
Lover to my consort
Writer of my truth
Sacred feminine Spirit
Creatrix of my life
Seeking the truth within, exploring the world without.
Slave to my own mind

Who are you?

I could go on and on, with a list of labels. When I run out
of words is when you will see the true essence of
who I am.
It is when all the labels have
been removed and all the words have run out that
we begin to sense who we truly are.

The labels are an illusion;
they filter out the reality of the real world
and keep us in question of our origin and purpose.
They keep us seeking and prevent us knowing.

The Universe does not give definitions;
it simply is.
Humans are the 'meaning makers', the labellers,
the ones who seek comfort within boxes and categories .
Our labels are based on a tiny focus of consciousness;
they are inaccurate, detrimental and the shackles that imprison us in illusion.

Beyond all language,
beyond all definitions,
beyond all inherited truths is who we really are.

Free Teleseminars

With Dan's blessing (thank you Dan), I wanted to tell you about some free teleseminars.

you can gather all the details here:

From 'Release the writer in you' to 'Creative coaching' and 'From uncertainty to flow' there might be something to interest the members on here :)

They tend to be at around 8pm our time (GMT + 1) so may not be convenient for all, but it is still worth checking out the site as there are… Continue

The housework is not done - yipee!!

I've been making ATCs LOL!

The Sunday dinner stuff is waiting to be washed up, dd asked for a bath an hour ago and I haven't run it yet, she's not had tea and I'm drowning under magazine clippings.

This is the way to spend Sunday afternoons, is it not?!

My ATCs have become very scruffy this afternoon, but I really don't mind.

I'm having trouble with my glue as some of you will probably have noticed - what glue do you use for applying to small areas and how do… Continue

my first ATC and the journey of getting there..............

After a great deal of support and inspiration from my dear friends on CSS, I decided that this morning I would make my first ATC.

I was procrastinating wildly, finding much more 'important' things to do when my daughter stomped downstairs with some 'rubbish' (her word, not mine) that she wanted to make into a cat. She got out scissors, sellotape, glue, tissue paper, old toilet rolls and set to work.

How could I resist?

I got a pile of magazines, some crayons, scissors… Continue

Ick!

Why do I never learn?

I sense I have burned myself out :( :(

For the past few weeks I have been on an absolute creative high. I've been churning out articles, infused with ideas and the words have flowed easily. I have felt totally alive and inspired.

When I'm like this I plan all sorts of goals and for a while all those goals are achieved easily and effortlessly.

For the past couple of days I have gone to bed far too late, eaten infront of the computer, not t… Continue

My baby lost her tooth!

I can't believe it; we thought it would never happen LOL!
I remember dd being late to develop her first teeth and she has been desperate to catch up with her peers at school with losing them too. Although she has always had a reluctance to 'let go' of her babyhood.

In times of stress she still resorts to being baby and it was fascinating to watch this push / pull at force within her psyche. Her desire to 'follow the herd' and reach the milestone of a large, fleshy gap between her te… Continue
