Glad to see you joined the Julia Cameron Readers Group. At the bottom of the list of discussions there, is a link with a green plus sign, "Start Discussion" to make your own and title it with your name and the book you're reading. If you want to see all the discussions, click "View All" ... the group page only shows twenty. I'll also be posting a new discussion tomorrow for the first part of the Vein of Gold group, for general discussion of that ... then next week we'll venture into "The Kingdom of Story" :)
Funny that you wound up with two copies of The Artist's Way, I've done that before with other books. Probably because I can't resist a bargain and snoop thru the books at Goodwill a lot :)
Have an awesome week end!

Thanks for the nice comments on my fabric heart and work.
I'm getting more into mixing it up also. I've never done journaling and no collaging since I was in school but I am inspired by all I see here. Just picked up a book called The Art of Fabric Collage by Rosemary Eichorn. It is not quite what I was looking for which is why I don't like buying books on the internet. It is mostly clothing, and not the kind I want to do, but I'm sure I will find something new in it.
I was admiring the new drawings you have posted. It would be fun to take one and run with it using the techniques you mentioned. I can see those wonderful sneakers fabric collaged on a journal cover. Which gives me some ideas : )
Keep me posted on what you're up to.
I wondered where Pound Ridge was and am guessing it's not too far away. My sister summers near Saratoga Springs, so we usually get over there once a year for a couple of days. Nice to have connections here at CCS...and a neighbor, to boot!
Looks like you're having a good time here, and that's the whole point. You've joined some wonderful groups, which will keep you active and busy here! Keep up your drawing, and keep showing us more!
I love to create alone outdoors myself- preferably in a woods or near water. You already joined some groups that I am in so I hope I see you around. Don't hesitate to add to discussions.

I see your creativity is quite diverse, looking forward to more :-)
Best wishes Julia
Been looking at your photos. Lovely, I expecially like the fog one.

Welcome to CCS. I think you will love it here. Lots of lovely, creative, supportive people.
Take a browse around and get to know everyone. I usually start on the homepage and see what comments have been added. Also, you might want to take a look through the groups and see what inerests you.
Any questions just holler. Someone will be able to help.
