Hi Julia. I am happy to answer any questions that aren't answered by my previous comment or the Golden web site. I really like this process because I can use my own photo images in my collages.

Hi Lin. It is so easy. I am using a color copier. First you print out your image. Then you brush gel medium onto the paper, wood, canvas, etc. that you want to transfer your photo on. Place the copy with the printed side down and press firmly. Let...

How timely - a collage group. I just came up from my studio where I started doing 2 collages. I am transferring with gel medium some of my photos that I have photocopied and then I go back into the canvas with paint and ink. How exciting to be abl...

Carin, thank you for your very special comments you left at my 4 Seasons photos http://coachcreativespace.ning.com/photo/album/show?id=827120:Album:81439

all the way back in May! So sorry I never knew this comment was here!
I am glad you enjoyed the works!
These are all made with various mixed media...The winter one was eggsperiments with eggwhites with blue pigments applied variously onto tissue layers...
The Melonade was all collaged with tape and stapels, as was the fall collage.
Spring was made from applying pastel stickers to paper, scanning it, and applying a printed sheet of vellum on top to create more gentle less graphic looking abstract!
Phew! That is a mouthful, but it is my way to always honor CCS friends comments, no matter how late I discover them!
I thank you for your enthusiasm and your interest, Carin!

Your handmade books are so exquisite and I know they take lots of time and love and inspiration and talent and energy! It has to be the love and passion that keeps you creating these beautiful art objects!

Please do fill me in on what you are up to lately, if it has not been posted at your blog yet...otherwise, I look forward to seeing more posts of your books...
Did you finish alll the seasons yet, or you still diligently putting together another season??? I must go check out 4 Seasons and catch up!

HI Carin!
Thank you for looking at my dolls! They are my first love... ; ) I am trying to get up the courage to sell them. I have a terrible habit of giving my stuff away... The way I feel, if someone likes it, hey! Here ya go!

Carin, I am so sure I have seen these beautiful art pieces here before, but I am surprised that I made no comments about these gorgeous hand-made objects...please forgive my oversight!

Your constructions seem to be done with an amazing sense of love in the moments of creation! They all offer unique ways to look at the object world, especially the world of books!

Please keep creating and sharing your works here!!!
Hugs from Camille

When you join the group don't feel you have to do all the challenges and swaps. Out of the 18 members we had when the swap started 10 people participated.

So you see not all got in the swap. So I do hope I will see you again in the 1"x1" group.

Love and hugs, Rita

Welcome to the 1"x1",

I saw you joined at the mean page, it didn't show up at the groups page yet. I hope you like it as much as we all do there,

love and hugs,
Rita
