wow - this is fantastic, Trish! Love all the colours and texture and well chosen words.
Thanks for the words, Trish. This is really intriguing with all the textures and colors and that black, burned looking edge around the house ... wow.
I posted a blog this morning on a video I recently watched and in it the speaker tells an interest…
this looks so much better in person, I just have to say that first! The colors didn't look right so I've been trying to full with the color adjustments, plus the scanner cut the bottom of the canvas off-and the splashes of wax, they blend in better…

- Thanks for saying Hi to Twiggins. Yes, I feel pretty energized right now. Between staring at the computer screen, creating Twiggins and eating some cake, I'm probably wired for hours. But hope to see you do some watercolors. They're a flowy, fun and quite crazy medium. Happy Creating!

Can't wait to see your collage! If you get a chance go to the group Sketchbook here at CCS, then go to the Corkboard discussion subgroup and see a little bird called "Twiggins" I just put there. See, we're both cooking up a storm!

Anxiety and depression are old friends of mine. These past few weeks have been kind of rough for me too, and others in my life. I felt pretty doggone good today though! New moon, good time to start anew, and I've felt it building up all week! Not that I accomplished anything grand, but I did overcome my fears and actually bought some watercolors and played with them a bit. That feels really good :)

I got the fairy gal. Love her wings, for sure and she is very whimsical. I've been practicing drawing fairies myself, I'm really delving into fantasy land. Back to your gal, love the background, so much energy with the reds and gestural marks. I wanted to ask you, one of your paintings I saw lots of white splash marks. Is that just gesso in really liquidy form splashed on? Looks really cool! I continue to enjoy your creations. They really wow me!

I love your collages. I've been doing watercolors and photography but in the last year have dabbled in digital art. I have also been experimenting with handmade papers and just playing with collage papers. Your work is breathtaking. If you get a chance, please stop at my marlotus says blog. I'd love your thoughts. Mary Hicks said… - Hi and welcome, Trish! I got the coolest leather-bound, hand-made paper journal for Christmas. I've already decided it's going to be an art journal. Maybe you could nudge me in the right direction for some good suggestions? I also got a great book for Christmas which might help. It's entitled "The Awe-Manac" and is a day-by-day "instruction" book with all kinds of cool stuff. I'm so excited to begin!
