Designing liturgical papercuttings. The joy of colored pencils, too. Never thought I could do pencils until I bought a set and started using them. They are one of my most favorite ways to be expressive.

Hey there Tinker...we'll be neighbors! Thanks for the input on Asheville. I am soooooo looking forward to moving there. I will be closing on the house in February. I just need to get my place up here in NY sold. That will be the big issue. The 2 times I visited Asheville, I just fell in love with the place. So much to see and do! The restaurants alone will keep me busy for forever! The galleries, art supply stores, and studios to visit. I just can't wait! I will let you know when I make the big move. Keep in touch, 'kay?

Lovely art work, Heather! Your bird painting are awesome, and I especially like your tortoise. I hope you'll consider joining the Doodling group and starting a discussion there to post your pen and ink ... or is that painted? We love doodling and sharing the results ... have you ever heard of Zentangles? There's a web site about it you'll find if you google the word ... none of us have purchased "kits" ... we just do it on our own, and find it's very relaxing :)

We're almost "cousins!" My husband is actually an Episcopal priest. The ECUSA and ELCA work very closely! I'd love to see some of your paper cuttings you've done for worship services.

It's another icy day here in Massachusetts. Schools are closed (again) and we're just hanging out. I'm doing a bit of work (part-time from home for a woman with a SoulCollage web site) and then maybe I'll find my new book and read the afternoon away. Enjoy your day! Mary
