Tereza, thank you for your comments on my pastel painting of Ely. We are about 16 miles north of Cambridge - both towns are in the county of Cambridgeshire. Hope that explains things a bit. 

I would love to work through "Portrait Painting Atelier" with you sometime. As I've explained on another thread, time is a problem for me, and one of the reasons I felt drawn to post in CCS in the first place was so that I could figure out how best to make time, and to use it. If I'm going to be reading/studying my art books first thing in the morning anyway (and I started today, at 6.35, with my cup of tea!) then it does seem possible that we could pencil in a time when we'll both start reading through that book and can compare notes ... A few months from now, as you suggest, sounds fine to me. Thanks once again for your appreciative comments on my paintings and drawings.
