That sound like a great idea, setting up sewing for young people. I have a friend here who teaches sewing to some homeschool kids- . She just put flier at the store in town that sells supplies to teachers and home school people and she has a pretty big student base. That is something you may be able to do where you live.
I learned on my grandmas- to mothers -to me singer featherwieght (which I still have). It does not do any fancy stitching, although I was able to purchase a huskavarna ziz-zag attachment. I am guilty of not using it lately...but I know I will when work slows and I have more time.

Hi Ruthie, Yes I am doing the 30 days challenge. You can see my progress at http://coachcreativespace.ning.com/forum/topics/827120:Topic:150076?groupUrl=thirtydaysofcreating&x=1&id=827120%3ATopic%3A150076&groupId=827120%3AGroup%3A1393&page=1#comments

It's been fun for me! I'm just all over the place with what I've done. Mostly I've taken to capturing images with my cell phone camera, and making "camera doodles" with it. I love seeing how images are changed by simply shaking or swirling the camera as you take the shot.

Thanks for asking. I'll go check out your stuff, too! Be well.

Hi Ruthie- welcome to CCS. I also love to use recycled materials and my trusty sewing machine is older than me but she is sweet!!

Thanks Ruthie. You are too sweet. It really is amazing, the beauty in this world.. if we just open our eyes for a moment.
