I agree with DJ. Even if we have a certain aim or preconceived idea for a creative project, there's always room for experimentation and letting it go where it wants to go... And of course fun along the way!

It has happened to many of us long-time CCS...
...and I have about 30 projects going. My obstacle is deciding which to do first. I try to prioritize, but something always throws a kink in my plans. Here's some of what I need to be doing: finishing up decorating denim shirts for a craft fair on...
Join us! Get active in your area of expertise for 5 minutes or more every day for thirty days. Sketch, collage, sew, compose, write, dance, paint, sing, act, and practice your special skill! Let's break through those blocks and procrastinations now!

Books are pretty cheap to mail. I would just mail small light things. I think this was a great idea.

it's a great idea Peg, but Susan and I both live in Australia so the cost of postage sadly puts us out of the gifting-just the way it is sigh
Thanks, Lin, but I'm going to just let it go. My main point is that this was a good idea and I'm sorry it fizzled out.

Fabric art is a big deal here at CCS, though I can't claim it for my own. Many wonderful people are involved. Check out the groups, and find one that fits your interests. Have fun!
