What's Your Favourite Way To Create?
Drawing
Favourite Artists (in ANY creative medium)
Recently Van Gogh has caught my attention and I have been studying his techniques and use of colour. There are so many I could never list them all.
Greatest Creative Moment You've Had?
I'm not sure on this one as I've only just begun to draw. Creativity covers so many areas of our lives. I cant at this moment in time pin point a great creative moment. There are many times when I look back on my drawings and realize that they arent as bad as I thought they were. This is encouraging and rewarding to realize this. I also have moments when I realize that I've improved in a particular aspect of my drawings.
What's Your Biggest Creative Dream?
At this moment in time it is to be able to create art in a more right brained way without having to be thinking about technqiue.

.....forgot to respond to, "do I focus on my art full time?"  I would call it more a focus on art full time, in that now, it's pretty much how I live.  It's woven into my day in every way I an possible get it plugged in!

I don't have a day job anymore.......yet my art is woven into my day even more now than when I was working......cause it's so freeing, relaxing and a true pleasure.  I don't feel right when I don't make art!  I've come a long way since last October, when I first joined CCS.

How about you?

Pauline!  Love your idea about learning/brushing up on drawing animals!  I know Hammonds books are very good!

Growing up on a farm, the animals there and those in nature are what inspire me.  I do lots of hiking on vacations....and take walks in the parks here.

I guess, I've always loved animals.........so it just seems natural to me...no big deal.

Right now, I'm doing pigs.....yet cows, dogs, mice and birds or sneaking in there too!  hah!

Love to see some of your practice stuff.........I've always felt that was the best part of drawing!...........the mistakes, the redo's, the OMG!'s what was I thinking???? art!  lol

Pauline, welcome! I left a reply in your Thirty Days thread, to say welcome and that's a great group to dive into.

From time to time we launch an "official" Thirty Days of Creating (I'll probably do one from Sep 1st) but there are members that having ongoing threads there and post all the time. I actually started a new thread myself a few days back, to keep track of some of the daily creativity and habits I'm experimenting with.

Let me know if you have any questions about CCS, otherwise just dive in and chat wherever you want to.
