Thank you for the recommendation, Patricia, I will check Oprah's site. I am so happy to read at your blog that your husband is recovering well and my heart joins yours in happiness! A close call, and from reading at your site before I recall what a blessing he has been in your life. Your photos are wonderful ... do you life near the ocean?

Hi Patricia ... just cruising around I saw some of the lines to your web site blogs and I will have to go check them out. I read A New Earth in kind of a strange way ... picked it up at a house where I clean every two weeks, and the first time I read it in ten minute snatches every two weeks. Then I decided to buy one for myself and read it all the way through. I haven't read Eckhart Tolle's other book, The Power Of Now, yet ... but have been blessed to be directed to some videos of him speaking on youtube. He's such a wise and beautiful soul.

I also like escaping into The Matrix movies ... another sort of strange thing occureed with those. We rented one, returned it and were going to rent another, when the clerk told us that the videocassettes were on sale ... we bought all three of them for six bucks :)

I meant to say I started doing Morning Pages last January 1st ... my only resolution! And I actually did it!

Thanks for the comments on my page, Patricia ... joined Jewels and hope to do more writing this year ... looking forward to what the others are up to :)

I do intend to journal a lot more ... just started doing "Morning Pages" as in The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron and I like it a lot. Just have to become more disciplined about doing it on a regular basis ... and journaling at other times, too, is something I think I need to be doing!
