I love the way you repurposed these things.
The lion on my page was a coloring book page that I colored with colored pencils ... then I took it into my graphics program, Paint Shop Pro 6, and changed the colors and added some effects :) Unfortunately this Leo got into a fit of temper one day and destroyed the original page ... so the scan on the computer is all that's left ... I hate when I do that!

Newsflash, drapes are not "small items". Been there done that LOL. What is a paint brush roll?
I'm working on a project now and plan on adding beads, but I haven't done much of that so it is slow progress. I'm just going to jump in and see what happens : )
I know what you mean about getting too excited and accomplishing nothing. One idea leads to another. Thanks for the compliments on my photos. I look forward to seeing yours. Happy New Year to you and yours also.

I did a lot of sewing when young alos- I made a skirt and top when I was 12- I still have it in a box somewhere :-)
As far as your biggest creative dream...I have found that, since I have been involved with CCS I have experienced a creative flow that has not yet ended...so far that makes it a never-ending creative flow! If I found that here I'd be willing to bet that you can too!
There is a lot going on around here- sort of quiet today- being Christmas and all. Have fun looking around and feel free to add to any conversations or join groups that interest you and if you need any help please just ask
