Michelle, I know how you feel. I have more than enough to keep me busy the whole year. So since my word was Design, I can design my projects around the multitude of stash that I have. Now having said that, I have committed to giving a workshop in Au…

How about "Design", as Design my year, day, week, month etc. or design my project, design my life, create a design and I can go on, and will. Maybe I will pick a design category each week or month such as "Color Design" or "Graphic Design", "Pattern…

Lin, I do almost all of my quilting by machine. My fingers also can't take. You know that old man Arthur Itis. Gets all of us. By the way I have one of your ATC's, aren't I the lucky one! Cheers, Judy

Laughing, crying, feeling

I went to the Blogs+ post and lurked as I sometimes do and found myself so drawn into the blogs. I enjoyed and I cried and I felt with all of the people. Their hopes and dreams, their sadness and joyfulness. Instead of responding to each one I am posting here to let all of you know that I am proud to be a part of this community. Judy

Thanks Judy! Thanks for stopping by! Your idea of quiliting bubbles totally thrills me! Please do let me know when you have posted the end product, or even the beginnings and middles too! Looking forward to something of beauty created by you!

The Postcard blows me away, literally. The colors and the 3D effect fabulous. I am not a quilter and do not sew at all so I always admire anything that is done in this creative manner. I have been to a few art shows where work like this has been shown. In fact, they were first place winners. So, now, I truly embrace it as an art form. Creativity is so diversified, for that I am thankful!

Hi Judy,
Just saw your post on 30 Days. Happy to see another fiber person, but so sorry to learn about your brother.
I hope the 30 days will be the outlet you need to help you through this.
Do you have any pictures of what you have done? I look forward to seeing you around the "Space"

Ah ... when I sent the last comment it came up with a message that you have chosen to moderate comments. So that's why there is no place for comments at your 30 Days discussion, most likely.

Hi Judy,
I'm so sorry to hear that your brother is so ill. My mother died of lung cancer at the age of 64 ... she knew for about a year before she died, and it was certainly a rollercoaster of emotions for us all. I do hope you're able to spend quality time with him as much as is possible.

I just viewed your 30 Days of Creating discussion and I don't see a way to comment ... maybe you should go back and check the settings for the discussion and see if you just need to change an option or something? Looking forward to another creative month :)

Judy, You're from my "old neck of the woods!" I lived in south-central Colorado (Monte Vista) for several years before moving to Massachusetts.

Was just thinking about "the dry climate" I know so well as I scrubbed mold off of my shower stall this morning...

Love your quilted picture. I believe that fabric/quilting art is one of the undiscovered beauties of creativity. There's so much history involved, but the "new" stuff is so awesome.

Good luck to you on your journey. Welcome to CCS!
