Jules - A2 is 4 times the size of A4 (which is close to 'letter' size I think) - about 17 x 23 inches.
I'm very lucky in having an Indian sister in law who is a dressmaker and saves all her fab...
This is a fabric collage of a local village green. It's A2 on board and the fabrics are mostly from India. Took a long long time to do.

That is going to be a really useful project Susan. There's never enough inspiration about when you need some is there.
I used to keep an 'ideas' book but never thought of putting artwork in it. Will get re-started with a new book.

Sweltering night here. Floods predicted for later in the week. Gotta get my candles ready in case we get power cuts.
Janey- last week they told us we had our hottest day in 15 years. Today we set a record for the coldest July 1. These 40 degree temp changes are hard to adjust to when they happen so quickly.

Yeah Janey...I found out after the fact that the pictures post with my first upload last and my last first also.

Ah ... I thought it was a little odd that the credits were at the beginning, and at first was thinking, wait a minute, am I going to need software for this? Ha ha! Okay, will start at the bottom and scroll up! Thanks, Janey!
Er....well I uploaded the photos in the right order but they have come out the wrong way up so you will need to start at the bottom of the tutorial and work your way up!

Here is the How To for making a Paper Bag Album. Sorry this has taken me so long but have had an awful lot going on lately.
It'll probably take around six hours to make one so stashes at the ready............

Paper Bag Album
Here's the paper bag album I made this week. It was intended as a gift for a young friend but I rather like it myself so maybe she will be given a bunch of flowers instead ( NOTE - I must develop my generosity to a higher level!)

Welcome to CCS! You sent out an e-mail asking about book-making. I haven't gotten into it too deeply yet, but I love the thought of creating books. I have only made about three or four, using different techniques. Here is one I blogged about on the CCS Main Page Blog. I also created a hard-cover book in a workshop, but haven't gotten back to making anymore of those, yet.
There's something so exciting about loving books, then creating that something you've always loved...knowing it came from your hands.
This reminds me: I need to share the artwork I've put into one of these books, since I made it, also.
Have you posted any photos of your work, yet? I hope you enjoy CCS and have many inspiring experiences here.
