Well. I haven't stayed the course. Almost a week of rehearsals. Have stopped lugging my chalks. Friday night is the gig. I'll be able to breathe after that. Tomorrow we play all day. Well, after feeding the chickens and the sheep. HA! I like what ...

I'm with Lin. Gimme More! Bruised neck woman. The doctor's bullshit smile. Restraints. Didn't realise I was drooling. This immediacy creates instant interest.

Wow I am so impressed with the sheep and fiber art. It's something totally unknown to me. Thanks for sharing!

Elle, You are making me horrible homesick from looking at all your photos of chickens and roosters and talking about goats and such! We once had a rooster named Bob, five chickens who laid brown or blue eggs, and two goats that were wethers. We found homes for all of them when we moved from rural Colorado to "citified" Worcester, but we still miss them! I love your blog and your website and will visit them often.

Have fun here at CCS! You'll fit right in.

Thank you, Elle -- and your blog is amazing, too. I raised sheep in 4H, years ago, and have a great admiration for spinners and weavers - and all the fiber arts. Oh, to have another lifetime to fill! Ah, well -- to be called an artist by an artist such as you, has made my day!

I just visited your web and blog sites and put you in my bookmarks..

I'm very pleased to meet you and add you to my friends. We have much in common: I used to raise Jacob sheep; for several years had a small flock that somehow grew to over one hundred! Divorce and time constraints forced me to give them up, but I still miss them. I don't weave - or even knit or crochet beyond the basics, but I'm very interested in fiber art, indeed, started out as a fiber artist many years ago. I also raised chickens when I lived in New York State, and I just love the images of chicks and hens and - yes, the overdone roosters. Your photo of the baby Rhodies gave my heart a tug.

I look forward to many exchanges!

You're welcome, Elle ... I admit, I've been "chicken" ... (shhh ... don't tell Jasper!) I know I'll get a lot further with VOG than I have so far, by doing it along with other interested members of CCS.

Greatest Creative Moment You've Had?
When I was a kid I was hired by an abstract expressionist to work in his studio. I had made art, but on my own clock, on the whim of "inspiration." All of a sudden, I had to create on demand. I was afraid I would be just going through the motions. But, I did it. Accessed the "creativity channel" publicly. Automatically. I found out that the creative flow is like any other fluid flow. Can be turned on and off. Electrons, liquid, light, and creativity. The universe is pretty cool.
