Lee Howell said… - My repurposing efforts tend toward the practical. Example: A really old ironing board from the days when they were made of wood that I found at the Goodwill store. I cleaned it up a bit, left the original green paint on the legs, fixed the warped top and sealed it. The board now functions as a catch-all table in the entrance way. Okay, that's not creative, but I had so much fun doing it and I love the reactions of visitors! Thank you for wonderful site.

- Dan, I got your e-mail request to send cards to the 18-year-old boy, Garrett, who is entering hospice. I was deeply touched by his story. I wrote a haiku and included it in my card. I also created a collage to go with the haiku. I'm dedicating my creating today--in my 30 days of Creating-- to Garrett. Thanks for letting us know how to do one small thing to brighten a sick young man's day.
