Chihuahuas can fly??!! What a trip! I'm not much of a fan of tiny dogs, but I always said, if a person wants to breed the ultimate guard dog, they should figure out how to make a hundred pound Chihuahua. Pitbulls and Rotties would have nothing on th…

Oh, Barb -- I was just being sarcastic. I really hope no one thought I was implying anything about brain damage, it was just (I thought) a cute story. And yes, Maureen, I think it's wild that we have so much in common. I don't know anyone else who…

Dear Mo, I'm late responding to this thread, but I want to chime in. I feel for you - the hurt all around and about "lollygagging" - as a comment from a complete innocent, no less. I've been batting around similar fears/insecurities/insanities for,…

Thank you - yes, it is. An ancient photo I've cropped severely and have been trying to turn into a painting for some time now. Turning black and white into color is a challenge!

Funny you should be talking about lambs today, as I just found a picture of my inner child and wanted to post it post haste, before it got lost again, as things do on my harddrive.

Oh yeah, I forgot about all the expired coupons! You are really brightening my day -- so glad to know there is someone out there like me :-)

I love it! Yes, yes, yes! I am always forgetting the gas at the very last minute! Or how about this one ... I get a great coupon for 50% off at the art store (or some type of store). But when I finally get around to going to that store, I forget the coupon! Better yet, I'll REMEMBER the coupon, have it in my wallet, but FORGET TO GIVE IT TO THE CASHIER! I won't remember until I am driving out. It is for that reason that I no longer bother with coupons!

Hey Christie,
I am dying to share a typical ADD moment I had with someone ... Hope it's okay for me to share it here ...

Last night when I was making dinner (always an ADD nightmare!), I was microwaving vegetables. When the microwave beeped that the veggies were done, I opened the microwave door -- to find it completely empty! I had microwaved air! Of coursre, there on the counter, was the frozen bag of veggies, hard as a rock.

It was too funny for me not to pass that one along!

Thanks for listening ..

Well, I used to be pretty photorealistic and precise with my art then one day got bored and decided to dabble with computer art. It pushes me outside of my boundaries and really gets me in my zone. I can take old art work, play with it and voila new creations. I like collage idea so taking my photos, my art and merging lets me tell a more thorough story about what I am creating.
Thanks for stopping at my blog. I'll be a regular at yours!!!

I am new to coachcreative but have been overwhelmed and totally inspired by all the beautiful words and creations that I have seen. I too just popped over to your blog and found it breathtaking. What mediums do you use? I love how you cope with your ADD in a creative way. I love mandalas, loving their symbolism of going within to the heart and soul of each of us. You are an artist, visualize it, say it to everyone you encounter, I do it is very affirming and in time will transform your believes.

P.S. Oh my gosh ... I just popped over to your blog -- what a TRUE artist you are! Do you really not feel like one? That mandala you made is amazing, and what you wrote there sounds so much like the whole challenge of ADD, and a wonderful way that you found to manage and cope -- coloring in a mandala that you had already designed to help calm you, help calm the overwhelm. Amazing! I will spend more time on your blog!

Hi Christie!
Thanks for sharing with me, about your belief that you have ADD too. Sorry it took me awhile to get back to you ... sometimes it takes me a day or two to read and respond to the posts. It was a relief for me too, when I was diagnosed ... it answered so many questions, like why I struggle with every-day things in life that seem to come easy to most people (returning phone calls, laundry, even just keeping up with the dishes!). I have been learning a lot about different ways to cope and manage day-to-day responsiblities, but I know things will always be more of a challenge for me, and that's okay ... I guess the key is understanding and accepting ourselves the way we are, warts and all :-). Thanks so much for writing! I look forward to knowing you better and working together on Vein of Gold!
