I think those are magnetic words? I have a whole bottle of those I love to toss around and play with! Just love how they've been used here! I love how you've nestled "If your Honor will permit it" with SLEEPING. Heehee!

- The time you spent on that book really shows. It's impressive and just charming, Carla! I'm working on an altered book idea as a scrapbook for my wedding based off of Jane Austen's Emma. We did the whole wedding in that theme with the regency clothing and everything. I wanted to use an old copy of Emma and then reconstruct wedding mementos and things right on its pages with certain passages reflected with our own stuff going on in it. I once started an altered book with Sherlock Holmes as my motif. Want to get back to that too. You have REALLY inspired me to crack those projects open again -- thank you tons for posting your work here! ^_^

The Client
I was on notice. With the economy sinking, stock market tanking, I was supposed to bring in five new clients or find employment elsewhere. I boarded the train and ran through my appointments. Everyone I knew was either broke or asking me for job leads. Investment counseling is not the money maker everyone thinks it is.
A large winged cockroach climbed up beside me. If it wasn't for the fact he was dressed in overalls and a tee shirt, I would have squashed him right there. It flung its tiny lunchbox next to mine.
"Hello," I said, putting aside my aversion for creepy-crawlies.
Opportunity knocked at strange doors and I needed to open this one.
"Hello," it replied in a voice louder than I had expected.
"Hard day?" Establish rapport – lesson one to creating a new client.
