I live about 30 miles West of Chicago. Songs of the Senses seems a great place to really get the creative juices going. I joined but haven't created anything yet. Soon, soon. My art/photography/writing is really going the surrealistic/fantasy way. I'm finally embracing who I am. Yes, the birds I do seem magical, I think in a past life I was a bird or a butterfly. It'll take a while to get used to all the groups around here. Just browse here and there, see what people are saying and join something that you feel a connection to. I'd suggest only a few groups at first cuz it gets quite overwhelming at times.

- Hi Barb, thanks for your reply. I am not in Lani´s group so it must be some other Heidi. Her blog is in my Favourites folder, though, maybe I found it via your blog? Haven´t visited in a while, maybe I should! I have yet to make any dolls but seeing all the creativity out there (and recently here on CCS) does make me want to try it out sometime. Creating other characters, little strangers that are not "me" and yet they must be because I thought them up....it would be interesting to see what creatures would come out to play. A little daunting, too. Do you feel that your dolls take on a personality of their own while you create them, wanting to go in a certain direction you hadn´t planned?

welcome to CCS. A while ago I found your healing doll blog quite by mistake, but I am glad I did! The story behind each doll is very interesting to read, and the dolls themselves are visually inspirational to me. And the idea of Numbfull and the Fulls is excellent. I hope you´ll feel at home here in our groups and discussions!
