i like the intensity of the emotion... its hard to retain that intensity as one moves on through life and experiences. but its good to revisit once in a while and touch base with the raw emotions that make up the soul.

Reading back these poems, I find them very intense, which probably said a lot about my state of mind at the time. These days I write far more coherently I think, in a more crafted and intelligible way.

I think this one, "for one lonely", is probably the most accomplished and accessible, plus it ends the collection on a hopeful note:

...let me carry you dew dusted through this fractured night...

...your mouth dry but soft encouraged / whisper on / i'll cradle you until i'm numb and lost of age / my constant companion i could not forget...
