Comment by Beverly on September 28, 2009 at 4:15pm - As I am just now returning to playing in watercolors, the first medium I ever embraced in my life, I especially love this image. You captured the action of the hound so well, his playfulness. Love the interesting values on the dog and the touches of highlights. I sometimes struggle with highlights so admire anyone who can capture them. The crisp lines of the dog jump out from that soft dream background. All I can say is WOW and now I need to go paint something myself cuz I am inspired!
