Thanks :) They don't take long at all ... they're just photos where I was intentionally moving the camera while pressing the shutter. Try it with any lights in a dark room, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Decided not to send it, the file is a bit big and I must have been overworking Photoshop because it keeps crashing, so maybe it will be in a better mood after a nights sleep LOL And me too, I'm off to bed to watch some of the Olympics OMG, I will be lost without photoshop, my puter is full to capacity, so time for a renewal!

Barb, these pics are amazing...a journey in light- the coloured one appeals to me especially, its rhythmic, like a piece of music, flowing freely-electrifying. The mandala is just gorgeous, wonderful shapes and colours....clever girl :-)
I have Paintshop pro but I sure can't get colourful mandalas using it as you do-mine end up very symmetrical and circular...and consequently very boring!...so here is one I played with in the feedback function...I love how you have done the one above....Kudos, you rock girl!

I have no idea how it's done, the DJ thing ... there are quite a lot of them in Bend, and this was the first time I'd really watched/listened to one in action, as I usually opt for live music. The music did seem quite repetitive but was fun to dance to, sort of inducing an almost trance like state!

Last night, I used Paint Shop Pro 6 to create a mandala image from the photo I used as album cover for this photo album, and it came out pretty. PSP6 has a kaleidoscope function that works well for this!

Barb these are wonderful. The multi-coloured ones are what impressed me most at first but having seen them all a few times now, it's the yellow light photos that leave most impact.

They look almost like the camera film is being scratched away to reveal the intense light underneath... Very impressive...

On a separate note, there's an interesting shot of the DJ with empty turntables and a wallet of CDs open in front of him! Was he not quite the turntable master he wanted people to think he was, instead playing pre-recorded mixes straight from CDs...?
