hearing it again.. and again.. the sound of the wind in the branches, the sound of the wind rustling the dry leftovers of the previous season seemed to reinforce the isolation they already felt in this place far from their homes and families.
none of them realized just how far they actually would be, how alone they would feel . The land felt dead.. like a pall had falled over all living things in this place. Even at a time when the small 4legs should be snuffling through the underbrush, when all flyers should be making noise, seeking each other’s company there was not a sound, not a whisper.
