Fifty Words - flash fiction fun...

I came across a brilliant blog called Fifty Words, where the author, Sam, "writes exactly fifty word stories Monday through Friday. "

So I thought we could try here.

The only "rule" is the text must be fifty words exactly. Otherwise you're free to write what you wish.

I'm going to try to write fifty words a day for the next few days and see how I get on.

i don't know anything about flash fiction, Jane, but I admired how you packed so much into a few lines and managed to engage my emotions.

hi - a fellow time zoner...! thank you. theres not much to know really.. its just a self imposed restriction to tell a story in a set number of words... it focuses the mind... cuts out all the unnecessary (to put it nicely).... i love this form j
