Err, umm... - It's a hen, cluckety cluck!!

Thank you, sueokieffe, Angie W, Carol and Kat! I did paint the rooster of the same breed by commission - and decided to do the hen as well.

As for posting the pics of today's efforts - best laid plans. I have to go back and finish on Thurs - as the paint wouldn't dry enough to do the distressed finish... too humid today. So I photo'd the little painting I finished at 1:00 am this morning... Hey, that counts! It's a tiny little painting - only 4 x 5 inches. I did it just for the fancy frame found (where else?) at a thrift store for $1. I'm calling it Renaissance Chick.

I've been sneakin' in... haven't had any cluckers of my own for years and years... but I love to watch chickens - and paint them, of course.
