CoachCreativeSpace

Hi there everyone - it's been quite a hiatus since I was here last-life has had its ups and downs, but I won't go into that here!

I have decided it is time to rediscover my creative self, let the kid out again-it's been a long drought, and I feel ill equipped for the journey right now, but as they say "The longest journey begins with the first step"-I am beginning to realize how I have let pain overcome my creative urges, but Spring is here, flowers are blooming everywhere, there is the fresh sweet smell of jasmine and honeysuckle, mingled with the wonderful essence of roses and lavender-my senses are satiated and delighted-I love the Spring!

This is my month for photography-walking, stopping to smell the roses and being enchanted by the changing faces of nature, the color of the seasons-the promise of a fresh life...

Here are a few playful snaps of my garden at the moment-more to follow when I get computer problems sorted out! Now that is aNOTHER STORY! lol

Been thinking of you all, and missing your company and wonderful feedback-yep Jules is alive again- watch out! hehe

Come Dance with Me :-)

Susan! It's great to see you-I have been hoping I would re-find you in here! We still haven't got together in real time-I'm thinking of coming down on the train one day-do you ever get into the city? We could meet and do lunch at Southbank or something, maybe check out a gallery or two.

Failing that, we'll go back to the original idea of meeting when we visit my son at Patterson Lakes-do you know, we still haven't got down there yet! Been down for numerous specialist appointments, but that's about it-in and out of the city as fast as we can! LOL

Julia,
I'd love to see you at my place as I am not so good traveling in the city. Bit overwhelming. Hope to see you when you are able.

I thought I would be off to a fine start this month, but it is full of stress and hassles-you may not get much from me, but I'm here, trying to fathom through the depths of my depression-and somehow keep in touch with my creativity-at the moment, with my dad's stuff, it's damn hard work!
You may see spicks and specks-um-I need to write-ya may have to bear with me till I spit it all out on the page! Sheesh-that reminds me! Morning pages-so long ago-will I ever find me again I wonder?

I'm thinking of starting a tribute page of my late dad's works here-would that be appropriate Dan? It's a part of the journey I have been landed with-heaven or hell-time will tell...
Here's one being resurrected at the moment-feedback please :-)

Wow!
Your father really had a hand for detail, Julia!
These are wonderfully done; I know you're proud of them.

By the way, usually, artistic talent runs in the blood, kid. Remember that.
And get busy. :-)

LOL-Thanks for the timely reminder DJ-I seem to be so up and down at the moment-looking forward to John going in to rehab on 23 November-his health is deteriorating because of the copious daily port intake-I really do hope this will help him...

I think when I have some of my space back, I can begin whatever my next phase is in my artistic career. I'm really thinking of writing a book of my poetry and illustrating it with photoshop manipulations, like I started in here a couple of years ago-now wherever did I put that poetry page!

Thanks for the encouragment girlfriend-and yes, he was a brilliant artist-miss him heaps :-) hug

Julia, After seeing your father's work, I have to ask...Do you ever do any drawing?
Just wondering
Julia, You are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Hi Julia! Nice to see you out and about :-)
The lily pictures are wonderful. I really like 'electrifying'...looks like a bird is rising up out of the flower.

About what you just said about hoping it will help...It will. IF he wants it to. What I hope is that you take care of yourself through all this. I really love to see your creative genus at work
