Oct. 1 - While I'm waiting for an important phone call, I'm starting to crochet a scarf to be donated to Worcester Common Fellowship, who will distribute it and others to homeless people who gather weekly for worship and lunch on the Common in downtown Worcester.

Hello Heidi, Nice to see you here again! Yes, I'm just bursting with creativity lately and hope it lasts! For now, I'm just creating in the moment and not worrying about tomorrow!

What have you been up to lately?

I was just walking through our kitchen (which is blue...ugh...) and thought to myself, "I want to paint my desk at the church deep red! It's this old, ugly metal desk and rather sad looking in its yellow/gray being. Does anyone dare me to sneak in there on a Saturday and PAINT MY DESK RED???

Now part of me wishes I wasn't going away this weekend...but there will be other weekends!!

I just knew you'd tell me to go for it! Yes, I will post pictures! Are you KIDDING ME?? I wouldn't let this slip by CCS...no way! (Sorry for yelling, I'm just so excited!!)

I just love revamping something with life and vitality!

Hopefully I can get it done within two weeks. I've only been there two days (heck, I've only answered the phone twice!) so don't want to "rush into anything" but think that the idea will be well received and make people think about that space!!
