hi everyone

i didnt do too well in september - but hope to try again now for October - perhaps i will make thirty days over two months!

I think i was trying to be too ambitious in my expectations when in fact each day i DO do something... i just dont recognise it as such.....

i WILL do better this month.... 8) xx

those photos are exquisite, they really gave me my tummy somersault feelin', which means they really "move" me.

Day Six and Seven

Been away with work - so have not been able to be particularly creative - except in thoughts - but did take some photos of where i was - rather bleak in the rain.

Also some rainy window shots from my hotel room... just cos i could!

am beginning to think my theme might be rain!!

Day Eight

A strange day really.. not been feeling very well - bit stressed with some family stuff... but managed to be mildly creative.... so . . . i took some photos from the train early morning today of the low autumn sun behind the deserted Battersea Power Station, then tonight some home grown beetroot which i have blanched ready to freeze ... Then this evening there was of course my wonderful gospel singing group... always uplifting and restorative when feeling a litle down. So not bad really eh?

loved your rainy Southport pics. It's cool that you travel the country taking these shots, you should create a book. Maybe some kinda travel book.

thanks ang.. i certainly seem to be travelling quite a bit just now.... not sure its interesting enough for a book though... but certainly brightens up my visits being able to take photos... it keeps one looking around at the surroundings too.... glad you like the photos, thanks for commenting

This reminds me, I read about a writer who also loved to travel. Whenever he went on holiday somewhere he'd write all about it. Then one day he submitted some of his writing to a travel magazine. It was very well received, so much so that now he gets paid to go on holiday different places and write about them for travel guides. Brilliant story of just pursuing what you enjoy...

Day Nine

well - lots going on in terms of words in my head which may form something soon. . .but today i wrote this fifty word story and took these photos below. such vibrant colours...
The reflection
Do I know that girl by the waters edge? She stands head bent, tilted to one side watching her reflection in the still dark water. Her hands reach out as if to softly touch another, invisible to my eyes . . .
She slowly turns . . .it is me.

autumn harvest slips into halloween fun . . . #sixwords
