Hi everyone!
I thought I would give this a try again. Since I'm home for probably two more months, I think I can manage some kind of art! I got to paint last night (really late! Around 11p) . I wasn't trying to do anything fancy, just playing with the paint and brushes. I did this ambidextrously. Almost all of it was left handed, except the petals of the large flower. BTW, I'm right hand dominant. I know you guys know! lol...

Have a great day!

Here's my third of three witches. I put a little more effort to her costume, since I'm going to keep her. ; ) The orange haired one went to my friend, Cai, and the blond went to my family in Tennessee.

Here's a close up of her face, hair and hat:

A close up of the bodice:

And of course her ruby boots!

Wow, Lotus, the almost-achromatic scheme with a touch of red here n there really works for her. Beautiful...Love the leggings/stockings, too!

Lotus, I don't know if I am happy or sad. I am sad I missed out on your wonderful 30 day challenge. I have just read it so far and all the wonderful art. I wish I had been here from the start and could have joined in. I still have your lovely cards in my artist journal.
Hope all goes well with the surgery.

O Susan! No worries! I appreciate that you're taking a look now! And I'm so glad you still have my cards. When I'm back in shape, I will be carving and sending postcards again!
Thanks for the well wishes!

Lotus, I'd love another of your wonderful cards whenever you are able. I put them in my artist journals after displaying them on my shelves.

Thank you DJ. I originally wanted to do the doll in white, black, gray, but with the boots standing out so much, I wanted to pull a bit of that color throughout her outfit too.

Well, you succeeded, kid. She's gorgeous.
Please take care of yourself!

I just love all the tiny details, like the different shades of pink on top and lower lip, the white eyebrows, the stars on her stockings... Do you sell these Lotus, or just give them to people?
